More shopping

By Tara Zandra | December 27, 2008

Pictures from December for those interested.

Tabitha had two hours of gymnastics clinics this morning so we all took her to drop her off and then the rest of us went to Burger King for breakfast. As Daisy has recently discovered the joy of play places we stayed for about an hour so she could climb through the human habitrail. We putzed around town for another hour and then went to get Tabi. Then it was off for more shopping. Why we always shop the weekend after Christmas, I don’t know, but it’s something we’ve been doing since the beginning of our marriage.

First stop was Target to get Daisy another car seat. My car is obviously the one the girls and I will be using during the week for all our activities, but Chris’s new car is now the family car so it makes more sense to get a second car seat than to constantly move one back and forth. Next we went to Hallmark for their sale and then a Crown Books liquidation sale. Then we went to a really fun book and toy store that we haven’t been to in roughly 5 years. Tabitha doesn’t even remember it. But everything was on sale so I took advantage. I bought tieramid blocks for the girls to share, Tell Me a Story cards for Daisy, a sketch book for Tabi, and Tikki Tikki Tembo which is a book Chris has always loved but for some reason we didn’t have a copy for him to read to the girls.

Lastly we enjoyed lunch at Red Robin and then came home and started the de-Christmas-fication process.

Loved your pictures! B and I are in awe of how beautiful the Disneyland castle is with the icicle lighting! She also now wants to put lights on her Barbie house for Christmas next year, but figure by then she won’t be into Barbies any more. I could be wrong though. LOL
