Today I sewed

By Tara Zandra | September 14, 2008

I finished both of Lindsay’s outfits today. I really like sewing doll clothes because even if you make a monumental mistake and have to start all over from scratch, you can still finish two outfits in one day because they are small.

The Disney one is basically a t-shirt dress, except I sewed the shirt too. I told Tabitha I’ll make her a matching outfit if she’d like and she was all over that idea so I guess we’ll be picking up a black shirt next time we’re at Target. The second is Lindsay’s Halloween outfit. Though we realized Lindsay needs some black shoes so we’ll see what we can figure out for her. I didn’t do anything on either kid’s Halloween outfit, but I did replace elastic in Daisy’s cow dress so I got a lot done overall.

I took a break midday to run an errand and I invited Tabitha to go with me. After my stop, we went to the mall to spend time together. We had a nice mother/daughter afternoon of window shopping and sitting down enjoying cookies from Mrs. Fields.

Not much else to talk about today. Other than I discovered there’s a museum in San Francisco that has a good Ancient Greece collection so now my mind is trying to figure out how we’ll fit in a trip.
