Today’s the day!

The time has finally changed and Chris is home 4 evenings a week so tonight, I finally get to start walking again! yay! I have been looking forward to this day since last Aug. when my walking regime was cut short. I lost 14 pounds last year, in an amount of time I can’t recall. Now, I’m starting way earlier and I can do it, I know. Yesterday I kind of binged as a last hurrah, Ruffles, Girl Scout cookies and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Yum. So I have my starting weight (yes, I gained a few pounds back) as of this morning and I’m rarin’ to go! My toe isn’t 100% though, I hope it doesn’t matter and I can just push through and discomfort. My Nano is charged up and for once will not be playing The Wiggles. Since it doesn’t stay light super late yet, I’ll have to cook and eat dinner in my walking clothes so I can hit the pavement as soon as the last bite goes down. It’s been so long, I’ll probably be sore for a week, but I’ll survive and it will be worth it.

    Good for you on walking!!!! I love walking, but out here there is a loose dog problem. Jim and I would take our dogs out for walks but then we’d have to battle with loose dogs trying to nip at our babies heels. We kind of stopped walking the dogs after that, and opted to go up to the high school and walk the track. Can’t wait to start doing that again!

    YAY!!! I’m so happy for you. I know getting out and doing will be good.. and yes, you CAN do this!!!!
    Hey, if i can switch to diet pepsi, you can do the walking!!!!
