32 is going well so far

By Tara Zandra | May 31, 2006

Thank you to everyone for the nice birthday wishes. I love when each new one comes in :)

The girls and I did go to Disneyland this morning. Man was that a mistake! It was so hot and so crowded and really not what you’d call a good time. I did spend some of my birthday money though which makes me happy. I think part of the problem is I was the one calling the shots, it’s really not that fun to plan out all your own birthday activities, I wanted someone to make a fuss over me, but it was just me. Actually, to be fair, Tabitha wished me a happy birthday so much that I had to ask her to stop mentioning my birthday, lol. I did have two very nice celebrations already so I really have no room to complain.

My mother called me at exactly 12:49pm as that was the time I was born. My sister called a few minutes ago as well. My dad sent a card and spending money which arrived yesterday.

Right now I’m just doing whatever while Tabitha plays outside and Daisy naps. Chris will be home in a few hours and then someone should really figure out what we’re doing for dinner.

Oh, as a side note, no one needs to tell me not to worry about my age, I don’t feel bad about it in the least. I do not type my age and then parenthically say (eek!) or (how did that happen?). You will never hear me lament getting older or say aging sucks unless I’m joking. It’s all good. I’m 32 and living my life surrounded by love, I could not possibly ask for anything better.

Aww my Mom does that too!
And I love my age too, I just saw a video of myself at 25 and almost threw up. I definitely like Me now.
Why would you feel bad about your age? Why do so many people like to feel bad about their age? I’d rather be my age than not be at all. ;)
