Well, Survivor is all done so no show tonight. Maybe we’ll finally catch up on “My Name is Earl” which have been piling up on the old Tivo. I’m fairly happy with who won Survivor last Sunday. This was only the third season we’ve watched and I’m understanding the strategy behind the game more and more.

Last night was the finale of Amazing Race and I must say this is the first time in a while that I’ve care so much about the ending. I really would have been pretty happy with any of the teams winning but my favs ended up being first to the mat. This was a very good season and still one of my favorite shows even after 9 seasons. Someday Chris and I will go on Amazing Race 25, that’s about as soon as I’ll be able to leave my babies. ‘Course, I won’t exactly edit well and America probably won’t be rooting for us; not to mention they’ll feel sorry for Chris. I don’t really do well in stressful situations, to put it mildly.

Lastly, there’s American Idol. This is the first season we’ve ever watched because I thought it was an important part of pop culture for Tabitha. It’s such an exasperating show. Randy drives me absolutely insane and I cannot handle the “Yo dawg check it out.” Paula is, well, we won’t go there, we all know the rumors. Simon just cracks me up, the arrogant ass. As for the singers, I can’t believe how much crap they are forced to sing. The only two bright spots were Chris Daughtery and Taylor and of course, Chris is gone. I look forward to his future career as that is the type of music I listen to. Taylor is the kind of guy I’d like to see live, but to be honest, I don’t know if I’d like a CD by him. In any case, thank goodness whatshisface was finally voted out. What “America” sees in the goat-like warbling, I’ll never know. McPhee can take her McSmile and McBoobs and go on to a nice pop career which will be full of music I wouldn’t be caught dead listening to (though the 7 year old will probably want the CD should she win).

Obviously I currently have a bit too much time on my hands if I spent half an hour writing about TV. There’s got to be a load of laundry to fold somewhere.

I love the way you make fun of these stupid singers. It was very hilarious when you said Mcboobs and McSmile.

    Keep it up!

I totally agree on American Idol!
I was pretty happy about the winner of Survivor myself. And now I can’t wait for Big Brother to start up again this summer. I only watched last year but now I’m hooked.
