latest sewing projects

I have some pictures to share today. First up is t-shirt, twirl dress I did for Daisy. This is the one that I just fell in love with the fabric and knew I had to make something with it. It’s a rather simple dress, but I’m quite pleased with it. I figure I’ll pair it with plain red leggings when the weather gets cooler.

Next is a top I sewed for Tabitha last week and was going to do something to a pair of jeans, but instead embellished cut-off shorts. We’re chalking this up to experience because the shorts are a tad tight. She’ll baiscally wear them next week and then I’ll need to do it all over again on jeans (in a larger size).

I think next up is doing my first applique on Tabitha’s apple picking dress. If it feels too daunting I just may sew Daisy’s apple picking dress first because it does not require an applique. Plus my order of rhinestones came in the mail today so I can work on Tabitha’s Halloween shirt, which I’m excited to do. At some point I need to sew her an actual costume as well.

ADORABLE!!! They are both just fantastic! I really like the cut off jean look with Tabi’s top.
I am still coming to grips with how beautifully mature Miss Tabitha looks in her new do, part of the maturity may also stem from the reason behind the new do but I just love her in short hair!
