A whole different theme park

By Tara Zandra | October 15, 2011

One of Tabitha’s favorite activities with her Girl Scout troop is to spend the night in Sea World. This is a big deal for her because her old troop never did any overnights. Since it’s still kind of a novelty with her so she really appreciates it. We decided that Chris, Daisy and I would go to Sea World on Saturday so Daisy could do the Halloween stuff and then we’d just bring Tabitha home with us.

First off we let Daisy play a game where you are guaranteed to win because this kid loves stuffed animals and rubber duckies so she was going to be happy no matter what she won (2 rubber duckies).

We also visited a field of pumpkin fish.

As well as Oscar the Grouch. I was way more excited to see him than Daisy appeard to be.

Then Daisy discovered that scattered around the park were octopus tentacles holding candy. At this point she made it her goal to take posed pictures with all of them.

We also stopped at all the treat stations for candy, rode the rotating tower thing, and watched otters frolic. Then we saw the Sesame Street Halloween show which cracked me up because so many of the songs were from the dreadful Elmo Says Boo DVD that we watch every year.

We then grabbed dinner and Tabitha and then the park was closing so we headed home. Not without one last picture.
