“it’s a small world”

By Tara Zandra | April 19, 2010

Small World outfit- Done! Daisy wore it to Disneyland yesterday so I took lots of pics in front of the attraction. She’s wearing a long sleeve shirt underneath since it was cool in the morning and of course I didn’t get a single picture later after it had been taken off, but that’s okay.

I shoud really make a page with all my sewing projects in one place like my [severely neglegted] scrapbook page. It would be a day’s worth of work, but I think it’s a good idea.

Quick sewing details for those that are interested: It’s a t-shrit I bought at the Small World shop last summer, I ruffled a skirt and attached (not nearly as full as I should have gone). The skirt is rouched in 4 spots with thin elastic giving it that slight scalloped look. The pants are from a pattern; Easy Fit Pants by Carla C on You Can Make This. I used the cuffed version and added rick rack. The French and Irish girl appliques were not drawn by me, they are images I found with google, but I did all the piece work on them and stitching, of course. The white fabric says “Friends all around the world, Hold hands and share their hearts.”
