tiny dinosaurs (oxymoron, I know)

By Tara Zandra | May 11, 2009

When the girls and I were at the zoo two weeks ago, we oohed and aahed over some lizards we saw in a few different planters.

When we see lizards sunning themselves on the brick planter in front of our house, we are excited.

When we see a lizard on a pink blanket next to Daisy’s bed, we go into hysterics.

Only 3 hours until Chris gets home. Until then, the girls and I will be quaking in our boots in other parts of the house. Yes, I taught them Mama needs a man to take care of things like that and no I do not care. In my defense, I did trap the lizard under a box all by myself. Then I promptly weighted the box down with two dictionaries, one thesaurus and one history encyclopedia. Oh, and I taped the box to the floor; you know, in case that 5-inch lizard goes all Popeye on me and attempts to break free.

I need chocolate.

LOL You are funny. It all seemed fairly normal and reasonable until you got to the taping of the box to the floor. That’s when I burst out laughing. heh

I don’t think that was unreasonable…I would have done something pretty similar I’m sure, LMAO!

LOL — I’m not afraid of lizards and bugs, but we had a mouse in the bathroom once and I made Pete and one of his friends catch it and release it in the park. It was cute, but not in my bathtub!

I hope you didn’t set up this temp home somewhere it will get tripped over by Chris, because, dude? That would totally suck that he comes home and accidently releases your little friend.
