A new scrapbooker

By Tara Zandra | March 3, 2009

Tabitha was given an American Girl scrapbook kit for Christmas and we finally got around to ordering pictures for her. After gymnastics today, she and I went to the mall to pick them up. Ritz is my preferred printer and apparently they have a 6¢ sale on prints every Tuesday and Wednesday. They are only 3½ x 5 but her book is small so I figured the size would work for her. Tabitha is so excited to be scrapbooking on her own :)

I’ve had a back ache all day so I neither used my Wii Fit nor scrapbooked. I’m hoping tonight’s sleep will take care of it because goodness knows Tylenol hasn’t done a bit of good. Extra strength my foot, I say. Hmph.

Tabitha worked on her Junior Great books this morning before doing grammar and then we did math and a little bit of ancient history and also some US history. In her US history activity it assumed a knowledge of where all the states are so that reminded me to check up on what I wanted to get to do a full states study. As soon as our US history book is done, I’ll put in my order.

Daisy did a couple cheesy workbooks I picked up in the Target dollar aisle. She likes them so who am I to complain? More importantly though, she read the last of her books and tomorrow we get to start the new ones! Yay for my Daisy!

I was checking out the summer class offerings through the museum and they have obviously cut back with less class offerings and a raised price. *sigh* I understand, I guess, just I didn’t expect it. On the bright side, Tabitha will be taking a class on Darwin. I have in my Amazon wish list a Darwin guide and activity book so I think I’ll get it around the time she takes the class as a nice supplement. Unfortunately the only class that works for Daisy and I to take is dinos and I already did that 6 years ago. I was hoping for something new but she likes dinosaurs so I’m sure it will be a hit with her.

Since Chris went to bed early last night we didn’t get a chance to watch Chuck so that’s on the agenda for this evening.
