The old days

By Tara Zandra | November 20, 2008

There are two types of “old friends” I can look for on Facebook- my high school classmates and my Disneyland co-workers. By far I care way more about my co-workers. It was such unique experience and yes, I can call it unique despite half of SoCal having worked there at some point in their lives. I was in a fabulous department with great people. I’m finding such joy at seeing who has gotten married and/or had babies. I smile every time I come across another old friend. Of course, a few I’ve been in touch with over the years, but there are many I’ve had no contact with at all. I love the internet bringing it all back together. I spent 7.5 years of my life there and I will forever be grateful for that- even if it was horrendous in the end, it was worth it for all the wonderful people I met. Let’s not forget that one of those people introduced me to Chris, so if nothing else, I owe Disneyland a lot for that connection.

I’m still having a bit of naviation trouble as it simply doesn’t feel intuitive to me, but I’m very glad I joined.

And I’ve decided to chicken out of my hair cut that I was going to do tonight. So I uploaded a profile pic of me with my mop. Someday I’ll get it cut.

LOL - I always chicken out of haircuts at the salon. They *never* do what I want. I always end up cutting it myself, at least then if it isn’t perfect I can blame myself & not be out $30+! ; )
