Here’s the cow dress I’ve been working on. Eventually I will add jeans sewn out of the same denim as the top of the dress. But that’s not a pressing need with it being summer right now.

Daisy has had Chris and I to herself this evening as Tabi is off to her second ever sleepover. I know she’s having a great time, but I do not envy my friend who is hosting, lol.

Chris gets home early on Fridays, so the three of us went out for a bit. Just to Target and then I wanted to look for new Webk!nz at American Greetings, but no dice. We came home and I cooked last night’s dinner. See, since I get home late on Thursdays, I had set the timer on my steamer for the green beans, and set timer on the oven for the baked macaroni and cheese. When I got home last night and went to take the pasta out of the oven, turns out I had never actually put it in the oven. *sigh* We had Taco Bell instead since I had two hungry kids who were not going to wait the 35-minutes for the mac to cook. So tonight, it cooked.

After dinner, Daisy and I played a game as I promised earlier and then I read her a Pooh story. Right now she and Chris are playing together. Daisy has really been into games lately. Since I love board games and am a collector by nature, we have a lot of games. We don’t have quite as many little kid games as I’d like though and I am getting tired of Candyland. There’s a Monopoly Town game that’s for ages 4+ that I’d really like to get and I saw a My First Uno that I think is Winnie the Pooh.

Now I shall take advantage of only having one kid, who happens to be occupied, and go read for awhile. After we get Daisy to bed, Chris and I will probably settle in for a movie. I think tonight we’ll be watching Hollywoodland so we can send it back to Netflix tomorrow.

So far they’ve covered themselves with strawberry-scented body glitter, put (temporary) pink and blue streaks in their hair, danced to the High School Musical soundtrack, tried to film themselves with the Web cam, and now they’re eating pizza and laughing hysterically as they play with Gillian’s 20Q game. :)
