Sleep well

By Tara Zandra | June 7, 2006

Why you should never fall asleep with a toddler around. I dozed off yesterday while laying on the couch, my two children happily reading in the same room as I. Perhaps 10 minutes passes, maybe even less. Suddenly I am awakened by a little person who decided it would be fun to climb on the couch with Mama and take a flying leap onto my chest. She grinned and laughed and made it impossible for me to do anything other than groan in pain smile back. As I stood up to prevent further damage to my ribcage, I glanced at my living room. That baby is small but she works fast.

Daisy strikes again

Nothing was on the floor before I closed my eyes and it was really less than 10 minutes. Of course, while I was completely awake and functional the child poured half a box of Fruity Pebbles on the floor so I really shouldn’t be surprised with what she can accomplish while I was asleep. The little Evil Genius probably woke me on purpose just so I could survey her work.

I really must consume more caffeine.

LMAO!!! You poor thing, that sounds like it would have knocked the wind out of you just a bit! She sounds adorable though! My best friend’s kids always manage to plant the feet (very hard) into Jim’s errr groin. He always says those kids are trying to make SURE he never father’s any children. LOL
