not much

By Tara Zandra | May 26, 2008

We really didn’t do much this weekend beyond enjoying the fact that we had three whole days together. We all played various computer and video games in different groups of two. I took Daisy with me when I went on errands at her request so she and I got to spend a lot of alone time together. I finally made it to the fabric store for the last pink cotton I need for Daisy’s cow outfit. Also, we all went to Goodwill this morning, not only to donate a trunkful of clothes and books, but I needed to look for pair of jeans to make into capris for the piggy outfit for when Tabitha doesn’t want to wear a skirt. We went to a park this morning where Tabitha practiced chin holds with Chris and I pushed Daisy on the swings endlessly. Since it’s Memorial Day, I felt like doing picnic-type food despite the ugly weather. So we had veggie dogs and chips for dinner tonight. As I said, though nothing terribly interesting, it was very good family time and nothing really beats that :)

Hey girl, it is so good to hear from you! I’ve been really bad about following up with people lately but you have been on my mind! I have wanted to thank you for the pictures you sent at Christmas time, thank you!!! I always love receiving those. And thank you for the birthday wish, it was so much appreciated!
    You are next, huh?
I just peeked at some of your photos, gosh the girls are just growing so fast! I’m a little behind on things but looks like everyone is doing great and is healthy and happy!
I had some difficulty posting at Yahoo and didn’t know if they were trying to phase it out, but I’m back to posting there as well as the others. So which ever is easiest. I appreciate you reading! I always figure my life is the boring one compared to the ones raising children etc.
Hope you have a great week and it was so good to hear from you.
    Hugs,
    Melody
