leisure time

By Tara Zandra | April 27, 2008

Temps hit 100 today so we spent a leisurely day at home. Chris and Daisy slept until 10 thwarting my desire to make a big breakfast. Instead we had an early lunch. The girls played together and separately, Chris and I played Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, I sewed and built Daisy a train track, Chris watched the Dodger game and we all watched 2 episodes of “I Love Lucy” together.

At dinner we discussed our next Disney World trip. I think we’ve come to the decision of a Christmas trip, but not until next year, of course. Aside from seeing all the beautiful decorations and getting to visit Santas from around the world in Epcot, I get to sew Disney, Christmas custom outfits for the girls! Let the double planning begin! LOL

Daisy is now in bed and Chris, Tabitha and I are going to play one of our new games we bought at the Disney outlet a couple weekends ago. We bought three, Disneyland Riverboat, Walt Disney’s Fantasyland, and Walt Disney’s Adventureland Game. They are all remakes of games created when Disneyland was new so the art work on them is a lovely retro style. Should be a good end to the day :)

100?! Egads! Is that normal for this early in the year? That’s just plain old too damn hot for me. Ideally, I’d like to live somewhere where it’s about 75 year round…that would be bliss to me! ; )Hope you enjoyed your games!
