coming along

By Tara Zandra | December 12, 2007

I’m currently working on Daisy’s Christmas Eve dress. I started it on Monday and then yesterday I finished all that I could with what I had on hand. Today the girls and I went to the fabric store so I could get what I needed to finish the dress. I’ve been sewing since we got home and am real pleased with how it’s coming along. I would dearly love to have it finished today, but that may or may not come to fruition.

When we arrived home there was a package from fabric.com so now I can also finish Tabitha’s Christmas day dress/ Christmas Disney dress/ travel dress for Disney World. Daisy’s has been finished since last week so I’ve been anxious for the material to arrive.

Besides the fabric store this morning, we also went to Michaels to buy a gingerbread house kit. Tabitha had asked if we could buy one this year and she had received a gift card to Michaels as a prize for her photography win at the fair this year. Since there’s a Michaels not far from Joann’s it seemed like a good time to go.

And now I must return to the world of red rick-rack :)
