still almost finished

By Tara Zandra | October 15, 2007

I didn’t get nearly as much done as I thought I would yesterday. We had an easy morning and didn’t sit down to breakfast until 10:30am. I had one sweet potato left and made hash browns for Chris and I with it and they were so good. Such a nice blend of sweet and spicy (due to Tabasco). Anyway, we finally got out of the house around 11:30 and went to the fabric store. There was quite the line at the cutting table so Chris followed Daisy around the store while she looked at everything and Tabitha sat looking at pattern books right next to the line I was in. By the time we got home I had to put Daisy to nap and then I was finally able to get working- only to find I didn’t buy enough coin trim. *sigh* I wrote down 2.5 yards and needed 3.5 yards. But I sewed on all I had, plus put the elastic in the top. Then I stopped working for a little bit, then Daisy woke up and we all headed to my in-laws’ for the rest of the evening. So that’s all I got done. Today I have errands to run, including buying more coin trim, plus one class for each kid, so I probably won’t get to do more work until this evening. I got up early so I could head to the grocery store before Chris and the kids are up, but I refuse to leave until it’s not dark any more so here I sit.
