Third time’s the charm

By Tara Zandra | October 14, 2007

Yesterday Tabitha finally got to perform her Peter Pan number with her musical theatre class. Let me tell you, the rain the night before made me wonder if this too would be cancelled. But it was not, thank goodness. It went fine and was cute to watch. I’m not really happy with the quality of the class, but for now, we’ll keep her in it through the recital at least so family can see her perform. Not to mention, Tabitha does love the class so that needs to count for something.

We’re not at Disneyland today as originally planned because I really want to finish Tabitha’s costume and today is the best day to take care of that. I need to put elastic in the top and coins on the top and skirt. I’ll probably sew a quick head scarf as well from one on the fabrics already used in the costume. She also needs shoes, but that’s not on my agenda for today. I wanted to sew white panteloons to go under Daisy’s Minnie Mouse costume so may get to those today as well.
