Yet another Disney dress

By Tara Zandra | August 21, 2007

I finished this dress last week, but I had ordered a bracelet to match and waited until it arrived to share pictures.

I really like the dress, but once it was finished and I really took a look at it, I’m just not sure where it will be worn? It’s not really a park dress. I told Chris we’ll just have to make reservations for dinner one night at Disneyland so she has somewhere to wear it, lol.

I got absolutely zero sewing done today, but I have figured out what style of outfits I’d like the girls to have for Christmas events. Christmas day itself we usually go very casual, so I’m thinking just jeans and appliqued shirts will be fine. I’m holding out shopping for fabric though since I have other, more pressing, outfits to sew first.

Not much else to report for today so I’ll sign off.

You have a great eye for these this sewing theing. I really like the vivid colors and bold patterns done on a nice retro, straight line style dress. That is so cute (must add, was going to go with the sew cute quip but just couldn’t bring myself to use it) :) Well done! You should consider doing custom clothes on ebay ;)

She can wear it when she guest stars on Laugh In

Awww, how cute! My mom used to sew clothes for me, and they were nowhere near as nice as the ones you make. :)
