what time is it?

By Tara Zandra | August 18, 2007

Like most houses with pre-teen girls, it’s High School Musical 2 time. Or, at least, it was last night. Tabitha had been looking forward to it all week and could hardly contain her excitement. I had bought her a pair of HSM pajamas and didn’t tell her so I snuck them into her PJ drawer so she would find them when she went to change into night clothes. She came flying out of her room, down the hall, and into my arms to give me a thank you hug. I knew she’d like them but she was really thrilled.

Anyway, popcorn was popped and Chris and I settled in to watch with her. She was enthralled and my eyes were almost permanently stuck in the back of my head from rolling. I’m not the target audience (obviously) so I’m okay with not caring about Troy and Gabriella’s future. Of course, tomorrow night is the sing-along version which I believe Chris and I will be sitting out.

I’ll share my most recent outfits for the kids. Both are Disney related for our next trip to Disney World, though they are welcome to wear them to Disneyland if they wanted. Oh, and I have to return the ruffler attachment. I’ve determined it either doesnt’ fit my machine or I’m too stupid to use it. Either way, I don’t need to spend $25 for frustration. I have ordered a new one from Sears that is specifically Kenmore as that’s the brand of my machine. I really hope it’s not me and this will be money well spent.

Sorry about the attachment, hope the next one works for ya! The girls’ outfits are great, I was surprised at how much Tabitha looks like you in that photo, she always favored Chris to me before. That smile is pure you though! : )

S and I agree that those outfits are “Cuuuuuute” (S’s response) I love that they have the feel of being Disney without being blatantly covered in Disney characters. Really well done!!
