Butterfly, butterfly, fly, fly away

By Tara Zandra | July 24, 2007

Daisy and I visited the Butterfly Pavilion yesterday while Tabitha was in a class. Turns out her class went to the pavilion as well. I wish I had known they would be there because I would have hung around and taken pictures of Tabitha with the butterflies. I’ve gone almost every year for the last 5 years and this was the first year I was in complete awe. There were so many butterflies flitting about; it was just beautiful. The three pics above are my favorite close-ups. I liked the third one so much that I set it to our computer background. I didn’t really get any great shots of Daisy, it was really hot and humid in there and Daisy wasn’t in a posing mood, though she loved seeing all the butterflies. Also, I wasn’t angling myself correctly to get a good shot. I’ll try again in a few weeks.

Oooh, looks cool! Where is the butterfly pavilion? I’ll bet Gillian would like that.
