summer rain

By Tara Zandra | July 23, 2007

We’ve got a hot rain going on right now and Daisy has put on a fuzzy, slipper boot and one croc and declared she is ready to go out into the rain. Mind you, she has not pants on, but that is just a mere detail in the mind of a two year old.

We went to Disneyland yesterday as we hadn’t been in 3 weeks. We had planned on going to California Adventure so the kids could play in the water area, but that never came to fruition. We went over to Tom Sawyer’s Island for some run around fun and sat and listened to a little rag time music on Main Street. Daisy took a nice nap that coincided with the Jr. Chef program so Tabitha did that. We all rode the Monorail all the way around. Actually, we’re calling it the Nemo-rail right now because it has a yellow submarine overlay due to Nemo Submarines opening last month. We did some of our favorite rides and enjoyed our lunch in the shade. It was a very pleasant day.

Not much went on once we were home, dinner was simple and then Chris and I played a video game after watching the Dodgers lose. We got the kids into bed and then settled down to watch Psych.
