on track

I’m such an idiot. I hate the idea of exercise of any kind so I put off walking. Actually, I walk a lot, I walked 2.5 miles just yesterday, but walking for distance isn’t a cardio workout which is the kind I need to do. Tonight I decided to walk even though I didn’t want to- loved it. I was only 3 houses away when I remembered how much I like walking and why that is my activity of choice. It’s so invigorating to feel my muscles working, feel the air on my face, hear the music [Kaiser Chiefs] blasting in my ears. Essentially I’ve been putting off something I enjoy and is good for me, that’s what makes me an idiot.

Aside from that, we had a good day. We had plans with friends that got postponed so it was just a regular day. Tabitha and I did lessons, then we each played on our computers while Daisy took a marathon nap (3.75 hours). When Chris arrived home he was greeted with the usual fanfare and then we all sat down to dinner. Then came my walk. Right now the kids are playing dress-up in princess dresses which is rather comical because they are all two sizes too small for Tabitha and two sizes too big for Daisy. I must say, Miss Daisy makes a lovely Cinderella :)
