hill of beans

By Tara Zandra | April 25, 2007

Mr. F was apparently here on Monday while I was out running errands with the kids. He cleared out a large part of the ice plant on our hill. It makes me smile just looking at it now. All that’s left is one more ice plant that isn’t too large and then our hill will be nice and empty. It’s a small hill in the front yard but the sprinklers don’t really reach it so it’s hard for stuff to grow there. We’re going to start covering the hill in bark to match the area next to my front step. Eventually I’d like small garden statues, but I’m kind of particular about what I want and it has to exist in order for me to buy them. So we’ll settle for neat looking bark in the mean time. Oh, and we’ll put a rock or stone border along the edge of the grass and hill. I’ll take pictures later so it makes more sense.
