back in the driver’s seat

By Tara Zandra | March 30, 2007

Last night after dinner, Chris and Daisy went up to the car place to get my tire replaced while Tabitha and I walked up there. We stopped at Juice it Up, walked on the hiking/horse trail and had a lovely chat the whole way. We talked a bit about places she wants to go in the world, surprisingly very on par with where I want to go. Her first choice was Paris and she said is with a lot of enthusiasm. She mentioned New York City and to prove she’s my kid she says she wants to shop there, lol. She said a jungle in Africa, but I’m leaning more towards South America myself. Let’s see, also Egypt so she can build 12 dozen sand castles, Austrailia so she can see all the native animals in their natural habitat (oh, and go to a Wiggles concert), and she wants to walk on the Great Wall of China which is one I never really thought about. I want to be able to give her the gift of travel. It’s a goal in my life that I sincerely hope to achieve.

How fascinating! I hope you all get to go to as many of those places as possible! I wouldn’t mind going to Australia, myself.
