I think, for once in my life, I’m actually getting good sleep. It’s taking me more than 1 minute to fall asleep at night and I wake up of my own accord around the same time everyday. I can’t tell you the last time this happened. Oh, and I don’t remember a single, solitary dream. Yay for that. My dreams are intense, detailed, covoluted and I always know during the dream that I’m dreaming so it’s quite the relief to not have those feelings hanging over me from the second I wake up. This may only be a brief respite from the norm, but I’ll take it.

Someone who is not sleeping would be Daisy. She’s currently rolling around in her bed yelling out random words. This does not bode well for later.

Tabitha and I worked in her room this morning. Since Daisy moved in, many things got shoved under Tabitha’s bed. So we sorted through her stuffed animals and tried to put them in a better location and pulled everything out from under her bed. I vacuumed and Febreezed and then we put things back in a different, more orderly way. We also took things out from under the slide and arranged them under her bed as well. I took down her little curtain that goes around the underpart of her bed. It was put there to create a little hideaway for Tabs, but honestly, in the 4 years she’s had the bed, she hasn’t played under there more than half a dozen times. Taking the curtain down and clearing under the slide means you can see the floor under there and straight through to the other side which makes the room look more open. Now, what we’ll do with all that stuff with Tabitha’s new bed, I haven’t a clue but we’ll figure it out. I have finally come up with my final, final, plan for the girls’ beds. I found a toddler bed for Daisy that I adore and a bed for Tabitha that will work. I only need the setup for about 2 years before we get bunk beds so I don’t want to spend a fortune. But I also don’t want it to look like a room on the cheap. One thing I have to do is repaint in there. The mural wall will stay in tact as will the closet wall, but the other two look badly painted and need a fresh coat. I’d like to do more than white, but honestly, we’ll probably keep it easy and just do white again. I’ll bring color to the room with new bedding for them both. I don’t want it to match, per se, but coordinate. I like a catalog I get called “Company Kids” as they have stuff for twins and cribs that go well together and the crib size will fit a toddler bed of course. Now, for the Easter Bunny to leave me golden egg to pay for it all, lol.

Yesterday I finished another itinerary for our Disney World trip. I’m sort of done because we don’t really need a set plan for Magic Kingdom and that’s the only one I haven’t done. We intend to go there a few times after dinner because our resort is just a monorail ride away so I don’t know what will be left for our full day there. I do know without a doubt that Daisy will be getting her first ever haircut at the barber in Magic Kingdom. She was supposed to go there last September and fell asleep as we were walking up to the gates. So no matter how badly that kid needs a haircut, she’s waiting until next year! LOL My mind is on Disney overload right now due to all the message board reading I’ve been doing. I just need it to be summer so I can make my dining reservations :)

You have to make all the reservations a year in advance? I can’t imagine how much work goes into planning a Disney trip. One of these days you’ll have to tell us what all you have planned or need to plan. Like, what goes into planning a trip to Disney World. I’m sure we’ll never go so it’s interesting to hear of your experiences.
