Western

By Tara Zandra | February 27, 2007

The good:

Daisy only woke me once last night and I didn’t even have to get up, I just heard her on the monitor.

It wasn’t raining on our way to Kindermusik and the sky is actually a pretty blue with big fluffy clouds.

My new Mary-Jane style Crocs finally came in today’s mail!

A serving of Thin Mints is 4 cookies

The bad:

Even though I got my car back last night, it still needs more work. That was just phase 1. I don’t like driving it right now so Chris traded with me but I hate driving his car. However, I absolutely need a car on Tues. Wed. and Thurs. so I have to drive one of them.

We have three financial goals this year- pay off all debt (old credit cards, personal loans, my car), get our pool re-lined, and pay for our next Disney World Trip. But the car is prohibiting me from making any strides in these goals. All I’ve managed to do is put a deposit down on our room.

I am going to run out of Diet Coke today but am not planning on going to the store until tomorrow.

My Crocs have that “new rubber” smell.

Eating a whole box of Thin Mints is 9 servings and though I haven’t done it yet, I do it every year so it’s only a matter of time.

The ugly:

Really just the car. I needs new struts both front and back but due to the work this past weekend, I can only get the front struts done this weekend and then take it back next month to get the back ones done plus an alignment. At least when all that is done it’s going to run so nice and smooth :) I truly love my car so it has to last me a long time because I do not intend to replace it for awhile.

What kind of cars do you have? We had to get new shocks on an old car of ours and I was surprised at how much they cost! But it does make for a smoother ride.

It’s awesome that you’ll be able to pay off all your debt. That always take a load off, not having to deal with paying those bills each month. And I’m envious of your pool! I would love one but while we have hot, hot, hot summers here, pools aren’t as common as in So. Cal.
