Hearts Day

By Tara Zandra | February 9, 2007

We had a wonderful time at park day today for we celebrated Valentine’s Day. We had a nice turnout of 11 kids who all decorated lunch bags. Then we lined the bags up and all the kids put a Valentine in each bag. While they went through their bag, I kept hearing, “Thank you, Tabitha!” “Thank you, A!” “Thank you, J!” and they really had fun with it. Some of the kids got creative and we even had a homemade crossword puzzle passed out. Then we loaded the kids’ plates with goodies and there was quite the array; breads, muffins, brownies, rice krispies, sandwiches in the shape of hearts. Very fun :)

All in all it was a great success!
