This is how we deal with cold

By Tara Zandra | January 15, 2007

Yesterday we headed to Disneyland like programmed robots because it was Sunday. Nevermind the fact that the high was only 60 and we were getting there at 8:30am so the high was nowhere in sight. We’ve been having record overnight lows and that was evidenced by the ice on the roads and sidewalks wherever sprinklers had gone off. But we went, because we love it there and it’s what we do. But we went bundled.

And yes, those are mouse ears on top of the fuzzy warm hats.

I’d also like you to compare my children’s clothing with the current pictures to the right. Last Tuesday they were wearing sun dresses and they were still pretty warm. Yesterday, layers of clothes in an attempt not to freeze our arses off. Seriously, I’d like the weather to knock it off now.

I KNOW!! The weather has been insane. We’ve had a weekend of almost 80 degree weather and on Wed. it’s supposed to be a high of 45. Insane!!!

Heh, we don’t even own cold weather gear anymore. LOL The most we’ve needed is long sleeve shirts with jackets. Haven’t even needed hats this year.

Love the mouse ears on the hats. Cute!!

Hi, I can’t believe that you are dressed as if it was cold..! 60 is warm here for us and we probably would be going out with jeans and tee shirts….
If you want to really experience the cold weather, you should join us here sometimes in January…We always have room for you and we also have boots, any size, to fit you if you chose to take a nice long walk in the snow and ice…
Have a good one. The girls are beautiful..
    Love
