cautiously optimistic

By Tara Zandra | July 28, 2013

We had a really, really good night with Daisy last night. And today was her best day yet. I won’t say she’s cured or even definitely on the road to recovery, but one good night and day makes me feel so much better about her. I relaxed today for the first time in weeks because I got a break from the constant worry.

But really nothing of interest occurred today. Errands were taken care of, kids played on their computers, we watched the Dodgers win, I crocheted, dinner was yummy and there were lots of laughs around the table (because kids are weird, let’s face it), I relaxed in a hot bath (even in July, because air conditioning makes me cold), and we all played the game Apples to Apples together.

One of the best Sundays in my recent memory.
