NYE Reflection part 1
By Tara Zandra | December 31, 2012
January through April
Well, it’s been a heck of a year, this 2012. The negative things were so minor, I honestly don’t remember them. We’re all healthy, as are our families, the work front has been good, and all in all, I’d say it was a pretty fun year. Really looking forward to seeing what 2013 will bring.
January
We started off the year with a road trip to San Francisco. The girls and I drove up on a Friday and Chris flew up after work. We did a whirlwind weekend and had so much fun we want to do it again in the coming year.
We ended January with Tabitha turning 13.
February
As January ended with a birthday, February started with a birthday. Miss Daisy turned 7!
Also in Febuary, Daisy got a new bed, Tabitha had blue streaks put in her hair, and we saw the Terra Cotta Warriors at the Bower’s Museum.
March
March was the start of the girls’ dance competition season for the year. My pictures also show we enjoyed California Adventure and our park group’s Easter egg hunt.
April
Easter! The girls wore dresses from American Girl because we figured it was the last time Tabi could/would wear one.
We also went to Disneyland (surprise!), spent a day at a park that is acres and acres, took our passport photos, went to the Page Museum, and I continued my new hobby of packing the girls more interesting lunches on Fridays.
Lastly, we started April with seeing Green Day’s American Idiot and ended April with seeing Jack White at the Mayan. This pretty much kicked off our year of music.
