Truffles, anyone?

By Tara Zandra | December 12, 2012

December Photo Project- Day 12

This week would mark our last week of violin and Great Books until after the New Year, so it was time to make a treat to show our gratitude to the teachers in the girls’ lives. Tabitha is the resident baker in the family so she went through my candy book and decided on truffles. I haven’t made those in years but man I do recall people loving them. So Tabitha donned my Christmas apron and set to work. When it came time to roll them into balls we let Daisy work on them as well so she could contribute to the thank you gifts. Let me say, they are gooood. Very glad we had enough to keep some in our fridge as well.

Here are my two girls working among the perpetual chaos that is the dining room- aka, the hub of the entire house.
