Halloween 2012

By Tara Zandra | November 1, 2012

This year we did something different and went to Disneyland’s Trick or Treat party on Halloween. It wasn’t intentional, I had just put off buying our party tickets too long and then when I finally went to make our purchase, Halloween night was our only choice.

I was a bit worried about feeling like we were missing out on Halloween, I do like to pass out candy at home and we get a fairly decent amount of trick-or-treaters of all ages in our neighborhood. I set out our cauldron of candy, flanked by the girls’ pumpkins and taped up a “Take 1 Please” sign and off we went to Disneyland!

I must say, all my worries were for naught. We had a fantastic time and it truly felt like Halloween. It was a bit dicey at the start because of the crush of people, but after an hour, it never felt crowded or rushed. The amount of candy we brought home is insane. I don’t think my workouts are intensive enough to counteract all this junk!

Anyway, pics from the evening :) Oh, and my cauldron was empty when we got home, hopefully the sign was respected and the candy lasted awhile.
