End of the week

By Tara Zandra | April 8, 2011

I had a birthday gift to buy that I had put off and by the time I decided to go it was inconvenient. That would be how we found ourselves at a Lego Store on Thursday morning. We hit the one in Downtown Disney so I had to make it very clear to Daisy we would not be going into Disneyland. Of course by the time we got home, our day was pretty shot. We had lunch and then had to get ready to head out to dance.

Friday morning was drizzly and yucky. We went to book club which the girls had sorely been missing due to illnesses and the cruise. They were both very anxious to see their friends again. I curled up on the comfy couch with my Agatha Christie books and enjoyed the quiet.

After book club was over, we left Daisy there to attend a birthday party and Tabitha and I got to spend a little time together. We went to Corner Bakery Cafe for an early lunch of tomato soup. Then we went to Target to purchase Tabitha some new pajamas and we also took time to look around at the Easter stuff. We had a little bit of time to kill before we needed to go get Daisy so we browsed the pet store and Hallmark.

Daisy had a really good time at the party and told us all about it on our drive home. We then lazed around for a couple hours before Tabitha went to her violin lesson.

Not much went on the rest of the evening. Chris and I separated the recycling then he picked up Del Taco for dinner and eventually we put kids to bed and he and I watched TV. Not exciting but a pretty good way to spend a cold evening.
