Planes of Fame
By Tara Zandra | February 8, 2011
Tuesday was a field trip with our park group. We went to a museum called Planes of Fame. At one point, many of these air planes were in Buena Park with the Cars of Stars exhibit but now they are near a small airport in Chino. One thing that sets these planes apart from some airplane museums is these planes get restored and can actually fly. So many of them were in pristine condition it was amazing that they had been made so many years ago.
Honestly, it wasn’t the most interesting tour. It lasted a really long time and we ended up bailing early. But I’m still glad we went and I know others enjoyed it more than we did so it’s all good. It just depends what interests you, I guess.
After the tour, the girls and I went to Pick Up Stix for a very yummy lunch. Then we went to the party store for stuff for Daisy’s party and Target and Henry’s as well. By the time we got home, there wasn’t much time before Tabitha had to get to dance class so it was a very full day.
