atmospheric conditions

By Tara Zandra | January 19, 2011

It never fails, whenever there’s something cool going on up in the heavens, we get clouds. Sure enough, tonight is a full moon and the girls were supposed to study it with binoculars. Last night and all throughout today, it was the most crystal clear, cloudless sky. The minute the moon rises- clouds. Hopefully it will be clear tomorrow night, otherwise we have to wait another month.

Both kids have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather and spending almost all of their non-lesson time outside. Tabitha has been taking an American Girl nature book with her and writing stories about a fairy named Lela. Today’s story is really cute and I look forward to the next installment.

It was actually crystal clear here in Seattle today! Woot! LOL Sorry your moon event didn’t work out tho. What American Girl nature book? I’ll have to look that up. B hates the American Girl fiction and won’t touch them but she likes all the non-fiction AG stuff.
