Sometimes I don’t blog because I can’t think of a title

We’ve had a fairly uneventful few days. Chris was sick, unfortunately, but is recovering enough to go out. Today we didn’t have Tabitha as she had a GS cookie event. Time for all that again. Of course she likes the 750 prize but that was a heck of a lot of work last year and I honestly don’t know that she’ll hit it again. It’ll be odd for her not to be the top seller in her troop as a couple girls broke 1000 last year. I’m still getting used to not being involved in scouting at all but I feel better about it now than in the beginning.

So one kid today, and she decided to kick off her day with Play-doh. After a while she switched to the computer. During this time, Chris and I weren’t really doing anything; I think I threw a load of laundry in, and he fussed with something outside. Eventually we headed to my in-laws’ to drop some stuff off then we went to lunch. We made an impromptu trip to the mall to purchase 2 items and failed at both. I was bummed because it was out of the way and turned out to be wasted time. We then went to Michael’s to buy box frames for photos I had printed and they had exactly 1. The salesgirl said they should be here next weekend, but that didn’t exactly help me right then. We hit Bed, Bath and Beyond and then finally the grocery store before coming back home. Daisy wanted to take an afternoon bath becasue she had gotten a new rubber duck at the mall. There was dinner and then time to pick up Tabitha who had had a play date after the cookie rally. A troopmate of hers enjoys American Girl so it was specifically an American Girl Doll play date with Wizards of Waverly Place watching thrown in.

Once Tabi was home the girls acted like they hadn’t seen each other in a year and settled in to play with Play-doh together. They got loud and silly but were having such a good time that we couldn’t separate them for bed time. Daisy got an extra half hour which means Tabs got extra time too because it’s best if Daisy is fully asleep before putting the big kid to bed.

And now I’m wasting time at the computer while Chris finishes watching the Kings. We’ve got fun planned for tomorrow so I’m thinking bed might not be too far away for me.
