A post for Mama Anc

By Tara Zandra | January 13, 2011

I’ve been informed I haven’t blogged since the 8th :)

Sunday we did end up bundling up and going to Disneyland. It was the day of break downs. Space Mountain, Matterhorn, and Pirates were all down at the times we wanted to ride. But we still did lots of fun things and met up with with our friend T and his adorable 3 year old. My eldest, who has recently decided her dream job would be to work in the nursery on a Disney Cruise ship, loves getting to spend time with him and he was her ride buddy on a couple attractions. Though we left at 2:30ish, it felt like 5 so I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. We made a stop at Target and Sprouts on the way home because I needed dinner items and I knew as soon as I got home, I would not want to leave again. I left everyone else in the car though so they could relax while I quickly grabbed what I needed.

Monday and Tuesday I felt really off. Just kind of weird until the afternoon. This impacts lessons though because not starting them until 1pm doesn’t leave time to get much done before dance. Wednesday I felt normal, but it wasn’t the best day for the big kid and me together. Honestly, it just haven’t been the best week and that’s why I haven’t blogged. That whole if you don’t have something nice to say jazz.

So I have high hopes for today. I need to do math with both kids, spelling with the big kid, Moon lapbook with both, Tabitha has some reading for book club to do as well as a violin and writing activities, and Daisy needs to read and do printing. Since we have to leave at 2:30 that’s pretty much the total of what we’ll accomplish today. Although, now that I’m typing it out, Tabitha can bring her reading with her because she has to wait an hour and a half for her dance to start. That’s good, I think I’ll see if we can squeeze history in as well.
