« long day, but in a good way | Home | new table = fun »

This afternoon we did Tabitha’s bridging ceremony to signify her going from Juniors into Cadettes. She planned the whole thing herself and included all of us wearing silly hats, trumpet blowing and confetti pelting provided by Daisy, and a speech by Tabitha. It was short but sweet and thoroughly her. I also presented her with her Bronze Award which is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. Afterwards, we took her out to dinner to a restaurant of her choice. Once home we all changed into comfy clothes and settled in to watch The Great Food Truck Race on Food Network. Very fun since we’ve actually sampled food at a couple of those trucks. One of them is going to be not too far away this weekend and my BIL is thinking of going and we might join him. Though I have to admit, I’m less inclined now that I’ve seen them act like nimrods on TV.
