Still don’t like making hats

By Tara Zandra | May 7, 2010

Darn thing took me about 3 hours of actually working time. And that’s with zero mistakes. Honestly, should have taken an hour. But it’s done and looks good with the dress. Daisy likes it because it’s a dress without pants. She’s decided to be vocal in her dislike of pants which is a shame since I do so love how she looks in dresses over pants.

Tabitha’s having a one-friend sleepover tonight and the girls are not asleep yet, but they are quiet and I think attempting sleep or at least very close to it since they both seem tired. I’m not letting them sleep past 9 though so they really should sleep very soon. We’ve got Daisy’s bed in our room which is a tight squeeze. That’s certainly the advantage to still using the small bed- we can move it easily. Once we get her a twin, she’ll have to crash on our floor when Tabi has a sleepover. But the advantage to that is then the friend could sleep in Daisy’s bed as opposed to the floor. Though tonight those two girls are squeezed into Tabitha’s bed. It’s a twin but they are convinced they fit. I’m sure at least one of them will feel differently when she wakes at 3am and finds an elbow in her face.

Now Chris and I can spend some time together even though it’s late. It was a very long day for me and we had an extremely rough afternoon and evening with Daisy for a couple different reasons. Hopefully I can stay awake long enough to watch at least one show with Chris.
