Cookie Madness 2010

By Tara Zandra | March 16, 2010

It’s over! We had our last booth sale tonight and completely sold out. And that’s without having a single Thin Mint due to a shortage. The troop did so well and collectively sold over 2600 cookies! Our council’s goal was 1400 per troop so we are ecstatic about our sales. Tabitha did get her goal and ended at 755 boxes thanks to wonderful friends and family who helped her get those last few boxes :) We’ll probably count it as 750 and she can donate 5 boxes she earned at the booth sale tonight to one of our other girls.

I still have cookie work to do and have even spent the last half hour working on it all, but for the most part, it’s done. I honestly had a nightmare last night that I was searching for the elusive Thin Mint cookie while the other varities (mainly the Lemon Chalets) were chasing me down a big hill. It was the cartoon character of the Lemon

but imagine him all yellow and menacing.

And then the earthquake hit to jolt me out of it. To say I was disoriented is an understatement. Then I couldn’t go back to sleep for a good half hour so needless to say, I did not awake feeling anything close to refreshed.

But I don’t care because tra-la-la I don’t have to think about cookies for a year!

Can I get an amen?
