You know

By Tara Zandra | January 15, 2010

Working out is not fun. I curse anyone who disagrees and enjoys it. I guess I would enjoy it more if IT WAS FREAKING WORKING! But alas, it’s not. I’m really not sure what to do after my month is up. On the one hand, as I said before, being active is better than not. On the other hand, I truly hate it and my weight loss is barely worth noting. The only reason I loss anything is becuase I switched to a raw diet for half the day and then it was water weight. The minute I had an extra non-raw snack, I gained half of it back. So what’s the point? I’m just feeling really discouraged right now, I guess.

Despite that, we did have a good day. We had a great time at park with all three of us enjoying our friends. There was quite the game of “Red Rover” going. To quote a friend of mine “It puts a smile on my face to see them all play like that.” I agree :)

After park we headed back out to the shopping center with anthropologie so I could return the doorknob. I was asked if I wanted to browse the store first so I had to tell her this was my second return so I was good. I’d still love a new doorknob, but it’s pretty low on the old priority list right now.

We had decided ahead of time that we were going to go to Baja Fresh tonight so that’s what we did after Chris was home. We also stopped in Henry’s for some dates (I’m going to make raw “cookies”) and also Barnes and Noble and Target. By the time we got home, we were putting kids to bed. I didn’t even get to workout until 9:30pm and then my shower. So even though it’s 10:30, Chris and I have spent no time together. We shall remedy that ASAP.

G’Night.

I’m with you - working out sucks. The only thing that makes it slightly okay for me is that I have a stationary bike, so I can at least watch movies while I’m toiling away. But if they ever invent a way to stay fit without actually exercising, I’ll be the first one in line!
