Hidey-ho good neighbor

By Tara Zandra | October 30, 2009

I still can’t post photos within a post so unfortunately, we have to wait until I not only get an hour to write out html, but am in the correct mood at the same time. I won’t make any lofty, false promises here. Suffice it to say, I’ll try to get costume pics up soon. If you are a facebook friend, I did just put up two photos there of the kids in their costumes.

We’ve been busy for us. It’s like, take all the stuff we normally do and then throw in almost a dozen more things in the last two weeks. I don’t even know what I have and haven’t posted on. We’ve gone to a member’s only Halloween event at the science center we belong to where the kids made shrunken heads with apples (kind of cool to watch them shrink each day as they sit on my counter), we did Mickey’s Trick-or-Treat at California Adventure, we did another photo day at Disneyland with the kids dressed in Halloween outfits (not costumes), we had our park day Halloween party, Tabitha has attended two other Halloween parties, we had an American Girl game meeting complete with mystery role-playing game, we went hiking, we went to the Getty Museum for their homeschoolers’ day, we went to the pumpkin patch, and we went on a field trip to a local Buddist temple. There may or may not have been other activities that I simply cannot remember at this point. At least every single bit of it has been fun (except the science center).

The fun’s not done either! Tomorrow of course being Halloween and then another family outing on Sunday. Then we’re done other than normal classes and stuff which keeps us busy enough.

Despite all this, I’ve been surprisingly unstressed so, go me! LOL
