party, books, cheesecake, movie

Sunday morning was slightly chaotic with me taking Daisy to a birthday party and Chris and Tabitha taking his car for service. Just as I pulled up to the party, he calls me to say that his car won’t be ready for 5 hours. Thankfully, I had good friends at the party who were all willing to watch Daisy and I quickly rescued Tabitha and Chris and took them home before going back to the party. It was nerve-wracking for me because Daisy has only ever been left with family- my mom, my BIL, and my MIL and FIL. I had three friends there and I trust them all explicitly, but still, it was very odd for me to leave her.

The rest of the day I thought I wanted to get house stuff done and maybe I did, but the day was kind of restless and not particularly fulfilling. It ended beautifully though. After dinner I rounded us all up and we went to the book store. Chris bought a couple books, I got a book and magazine, Tabitha got one book (only one for her because she had 2 Amazon orders this week), and Daisy chose two books including Fancy Nancy. We came home and had cheesecake, then I read Daisy’s new books to her and put her to bed. After we got Tabitha to bed, Chris and I settled in to watch the last Bourne movie. It was wonderful and a great way to end the day. Books, cheesecake, movie. Seriously, does it get better?
