A poem from T

By Tara Zandra | June 8, 2009

For whatever reason I woke up feeling very poorly. Not sure if I’ll get to the pictures today. In the meantime, this is a poem Tabitha wrote last week. The style was supposed to be simply two words per line. She chose to write about a propeller hat from Disneyland that she has begged me to buy for over a year and I’ve continually said no because, well, I think they look stupid. For the record, she has since been promised that she may buy one with her own money when we go to Disney World later this year.

Rainbow hat,
Spinning propeller.
Red, blue,
Purple, yeller.
Excited me,
Begs, pleads.
Mom says:
No need.
Passing by,
Frowning sadly,
Wanting hat,
Very badly.

love it, what a way to guilt-trip you into letting her get it
