Thursday, December 31st, 2009

We’ve got cheeses, olives, breads, crackers, hummus, spinach dip, salsa and imported chocolate.

We’ve got Karaoke Revolution, Donkey Konga, and Dance Dance Revolution.
It’s time to party!

made a lot of headway

All of Christmas is put away- hooray! I moved a few things around in the playroom to make room for the new toys, which is also a good thing. That project isn’t done, but I’ve been breaking it up into to small bits since I had other things to attend to as well. I finally […]

almost hit all the goals

Monday, December 28th, 2009

I only missed two things for today’s goals: Daisy reading to me and watching my food processor DVD. But I did absolutely everything else which means I am exhausted. My workout this evening was tough and my muscles are already screaming. Can’t wait to see how I feel in the morning. At least tomorrow is […]

the tree…she is gone

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

We at least got our tree out of here today as well as our giant Little People Christmas villages. Those were my two goals for today, I’ll deal with the rest on my own tomorrow. Goals for tomorrow: laundry, French for me, violin for Tabitha, reading for Daisy, watching my one hour fifteen minute DVD […]

sneaking in a quick post

Saturday, December 26th, 2009

I am exhausted. I ran myself ragged and lived on caffeine for a week and have been paying the price since yesterday. I slept really well last night, but still need a nap today. I expect to be tired tomorrow as well.
But! It was all worth it We had a fabulous Christmas. The […]

all the holiday jazz

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

We’ve had a good week. I’ve done every single bit of shopping possible. The only thing I didn’t buy was Dr. Pepper for the hubby so I guess we’ll need to brave the grocery tomorrow.
No matter how much I buy the kids, it still never seems like enough. Just call me the queen of […]

more on the past week

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

We’ll see how long until a kid comes out this morning. Maybe when one of them does, they can just watch TV so I can finish blogging.
Last week Chris took a half day on Tuesday and since he starts very early right now, he was home by 10:30am! Definitely a nice thing to happen. […]

up early on a saturday

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

The youngest child came into my room at 6:30 this morning as she has been doing for the last couple of days. But since she was out very late last night, she wasn’t there to tell me to get up. Instead she laid down on the floor and went back to sleep. But we haven’t […]

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Monday, December 14th, 2009

…but only in our house.
(As an aside, I wonder how many years I’ve used that total when it could really just say “We decorated.”)
We spent many evenings this week getting the house all purtified and yesterday we basically called it done. We’ll be buying our tree tomorrow as Chris is taking a half day so […]

no time

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

So I put off Christmas shopping, an activity I usually start in July, due to our vacation. I have zero gifts for the kids. I do have ideas though and both girls know it will be a smaller Christmas this year so it should all be fine. But I have some grandparents asking for lists […]

Home again, home again, jiggity-jig

Monday, December 7th, 2009

We got home very early yesterday morning from our 11 days in Disney World. It was supposed to be a Christmas trip and while they definitely had Christmas decorations around the parks and resorts, I can’t say we felt in the Christmas spirit. Which now means I’m a week behind on Christmas. But, while it […]

zen

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I’m a bit leery as I start this post because I just spent half an hour typing it up and then my laptop when kablooey on me and I lost it. Not sure I care anymore either, lol.
As I was saying (not that you’d know since I’m the only one who read it), today I […]
